SPACE X (End Of Year 3 Game)
Solo made major project for my 3rd year of university .
Software: Unity 2D , C# Programming , Adobe Illustrator.
Team Size: Solo project.
Everything except for the font and Audio is made by myself . All credits are found in the diary.
This game is a space themed SideScrolling Plat-former where The player Can use a Jetpack.
Since Handing In this university project I have added an Endless runner mode , where the player can experience all assets shown throughout the games 8 levels , with a much quicker introduction to the game.
The inspirations from this game has come from jet pack joy rider with the player jetpack features , however I wanted the player to have more movement so I added running and walking to the players movement .Another inspiration of this game is Battle Royale’ games (poison smoke), As I feel that the poison smoke is a good way to move players along the map steadily .

Very nice game! The music was very immersive and the physics of the game felt right considering it's space :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
